For over 30 years, Dennis McLaughlin’s career as a business/science/engineering/technical writer and publisher has taken him to more than a dozen countries on four continents. Many of the articles, books and reports he has written, edited or collaborated on have been translated into Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Korean and Spanish.
He has acquired specific expertise in covering and describing developments in energy (fossil fuel and bioenergy); transportation, agriculture, animal health and human medicine. His broad knowledge in these areas has also fine-tuned his ability to explain how scientific and technical advances will initiate economic trends – and how markets can capitalize on them. Over the years, Dennis McLaughlin has written and edited material for major business and engineering publishers – McGraw-Hill, Chilton International, International Thomson (now Thomson-Reuters) and World-Generation. Among his current activities, Dennis produces a custom publication in the animal health industry for Durvet, Inc., writes for the Kansas Bioscience Authority and the Agricultural Business Council of Kansas City. |
